Buddy groups have now been introduced. They are considered alpha, there might be some bugs. To create a buddy click My Buddy Group in the navigation menu, then click the Create Buddy Group link. If you want to join an existing buddy group click the Join Existing Buddy Group link instead. Buddy Group names of the Buddy Groups your are a member of will show up under the Select Drivers dropdown box in the View laptimes section

The world records were a little garbled, with the wrong cars and times sometimes shown against the drivers, but now the top 10 lap times for each track are shown properly.

Somewhere down south on a small piece of ice in Antarctica a UFO landed... It was about time someone taught these standard aliens a lesson... And wouldn't ye know it a likkle Penguin stepped out and uploaded a bunch of GTL tracks to the database and his own times on them, loool! Woohoo, I now hold the most world records! 150+ at the time of writing :^D Haha! Have fun beating them (easily ;^))

The GTL Rank crew is very happy to see Wim Sjoholm join the developer ranks. GTL Rank banners are now available. Please upload your laptimes in order to create your GTLRank banner which displays your class handicaps.

EDIT: A bug has been fixed which would result in car handicaps being wrongly displayed on your banner instead of class handicaps. Also, thanks to Alex Kögel for providing us with a new banner design!

Addon track support has been implemented. The only addon track in the database right now is "THEMOTHER" (Nürburgring Nordschleife WIP version), I hope I didn't break anything by adding this stuff back to GTLRank. If you know a track you'd like to see listed on GTL Rank, please send us email at gtlrank@googlegroups.com with the following info:

• Track Name as it appears in your career.blt file
• Useful, challenging reference times for the TC65, GTC65 and GTC76 classes (not necessarily driven by you ;)

Also, the car dropdown list is now sorted alphabetically (that was hard to do, indeed, lazy me ;)

A long standing "view laptimes" and "world records" bug has also been fixed; thanks to Kristof Huyck for helping in the debug process!

Class handicaps are now calculated and stored in the database. Please test and get back to me if there appears to be something wrong.

I have modified the Career.blt parser to reject laptimes that are five seconds faster than the reference time for the track and class. If you have a valid faster lap, please get in touch.

There have been numerous reports about online laptimes ending up being registered for the wrong track. Apparently this is a bug in GT Legends, and we are hopeful that this bug might be fixed in a future GTL patch (if there ever is one).

For now, please take extra care to delete any wrong laptimes you may find on the "my laps" page to make the admin's lives a little easier. Thank you!

In preparation for a "proper" GTLRank, all demo laptimes have been removed from the database. Please re-upload your laptimes from the retail version of GTLRank.

Seb is working hard adding reference times for all three classes to the database for each track, and I guess he could use some help ;) get in touch with us at the address given on the front page so we can sort something out.

Cars and tracks from the retail version have been added by Sebastien Milliot, thanks Seb!

GTLRank Version 0.01 is online. All cars are considered GT class, let me know if it works for you.
